Pak cricketers to take part in relief operations

Extending their helping hand, Pakistan cricketers would take part in relief work in the areas devastated by the earthquake that has so far left more than 30,000 dead.

"The entire cricket team will travel to the quake-stricken areas and will take part in relief operations," Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq told ARY One World television from Sydney.

"Although we might not stay there during the entire operation, but we will definitely make our presence felt in areas that have been devastated by Saturday's earthquake," the skipper said.

"My heart goes out for the people of Muzaffarabad and adjoining areas who lost everything in seconds. They are the people in need and its are national and moral duty to help them and make them realise that in this hour of difficulty, we are with them," Inzamam, who is in Sydney for the Super Test, told the channel.
