Bharatiya Janata Party would continue its relations with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as it would take care of the 'party's good health', party vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu said on Sunday.

Addressing a Bharatiya Jan Yukti Morcha meeting, Naidu said RSS was a committed, disciplined and dedicated organisation and BJP could not afford to lose its connection with it. He claimed that the country was not in safe hands in the wake of the Volcker report and Mitrokhin archives, which both named Congress as a beneficiary.

"The country is facing many problems and is not in safe hands in the wake of Volcker report on oil-for-food scam in Iraq and Mitrokhin archives, which claimed that the Soviet intelligence agency KGB had paid money to Congress," he said.

Naidu also opposed the issue of providing reservation based on religion, saying it would lead to 'dangerous situation' in the coming days. He also condemned cow slaughter and demanded a complete ban on it all over the country.

"The law and order situation has completely collapsed in Kashmir where incidents of violence were taking place daily," he added.
