The Gurgaon police have released a list of 61 employees of Honda Motorcycles and Scooters Ltd who have been detained for rioting and attempt to murder under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.

This was handed over by Deepa Mehta, inspector general of police, to Brinda Karat and Nilotpal Basu at the Gurgaon Civil Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking to, the IG said the employees have been arrested under Sections 148, 149, 332, 353, 438, 427, 283, 188 and 307 of the IPC.

She vehemently denied that any employee of Honda is missing.

She also released a list of 54 employees who have received various types of injuries and assured the newsmen that the administration would do everything to see that Monday events are not repeated.

However, in spite of this, minor eruptions of violence between the crowd and the police have been taking place at the hospital premises.

Some of the employees and relatives are prompting others to clash with the police.

A riot-like situation continues to prevail in the hospital soon after the CPI-M MPs left the hospital premises.
