Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy on Monday afternoon indicated that he is in no hurry to accept the resignation of five Telangana Rashtra Samithi ministers from his Cabinet.

YSR refused to react on the resignations when newsmen accosted him at the Raj Bhavan. He called on Governor Sushilkumar Shinde soon after the TRS ministers returned from Raj Bhavan after handing in their resignation letters.

"Five out of the six TRS ministers have given their resignation letters to the governor. I called on the governor before leaving on my foreign tour. The governor asked for my remarks on the resignations. I informed him that I would  give my advice in due course. I am going ahead with my foreign trip," he said.

Asked about the personal allegations leveled against him by the TRS ministers who quit his Cabinet, YSR said: "It is not for me to reply to each and everything they say. I will react at the appropriate time. I will reply to all these things when I have to."

YSR was in no mood to reveal his mind on the fate of the resignations by his TRS colleagues. "I have got all the liberty on the face of the earth to take my own time to take the decision. I have all the freedom of speech to comment or not to comment. I told the governor that I would tender my advice after discussing with my Cabinet colleagues," was his stock reply to a spate of queries from newsmen.

The chief minister also parried a question on what advice he gave another TRS minister S Santosh Reddy who has refused to join his colleagues in quitting the Cabinet.

YSR is leaving on an eight-day visit to three countries -- Israel, Egypt and United Arab Emirates -- Monday evening. He will return to Hyderabad on July 12.
