One passenger has decided not to board the inaugural Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus on April 7.

Official sources also say that two others, who were supposed to reach Srinagar on Tuesday, have not reached the venue and have also not communicated about their position to the authorities.

They are pawns in the great game

Official sources in the regional passport office say that the woman passenger, who pulled out of the trip, hailed from Jammu region.

Her name could not be revealed because of security reasons, they said.

The Road to Peace

The lady wrote a letter to the authorities telling them that she would not like to undertake the journey to Muzaffarabad. She did not cite any reason for her decision.

Meanwhile, another Pakistan-based militant group Al-badar also issued a warning to the passengers asking them not to travel by the bus.

It also asked people to refrain from participating in the function being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir government to mark the occasion.

Kashmir Mass Movement, an amalgam of four militant outfits, renewed its threat to the passengers on Tuesday.
