After having done their bit for polio eradication in India, Indian cricketers have launched a similar campaign in neighbouring Pakistan.

Sachin Tendulkar and V V S Laxman took time off from their busy cricketing schedule to join the noble cause on Monday.

They recorded a message on the need to take the pulse polio drops, in English and Urdu, which would be broadcast by Pakistan Radio from Tuesday, Indian cricket team's media manager Amrit Mathur said.

Indian cricketers, especially Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, are extremely popular in Pakistan.
