Amit came to the CBI headquarters accompanied by his lawyers.

The CBI has filed an FIR under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code against Jogi, his son Amit and defected Bharatiya Janata Party MP P R Khunte for bribing BJP MLAs and trying to split the party after the December 1 assembly elections in Chhattisgarh.

CBI has so far examined 30 people in connection with the case.

The CBI has also questioned Jogi's staff, including his driver, and others besides taking voice samples of all those on the audio tape in which Jogi is heard offering bribe to Pandey for splitting the BJP Legislature Party.

The case was transferred from the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Chhattisgarh to the CBI.
