Prince Charles on Wednesday inaugurated the Suryodaya Cooperative Housing Society building in Mumbai's Dharavi, Asia's biggest slum.
The housing society is part of a slum rehabilitation project, which is supported by the Department for International Development in partnership with the Society for the Promotion of Area Resource Centres and the UK-based Homeless International.
Just a couple of years back hutments jostled with each other in the area where the Suryodaya building stands today.
