Orissa sets up police station to probe cyber crimes

The Orissa Crime Records Bureau has been designated as the state's first police station to exclusively probe cyber crimes.

The bureau, located at Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar will probe cyber crimes like hacking, dissemination of virus programmes into network, cyber theft, and intimidation through email.

It will also investigate fraudulent monetary transactions on the Internet and cyber porn, a home department official said.
