Three suspended BJD legislators expelled

Giridhar Gopal in Bhubaneswar

The Biju Janata Dal on Saturday expelled three suspended Members of Parliament -- Prabhat Samant Ray, Jagannath Mallik and Kumudini Patnaik -- for six years for anti-party activities, party spokesman Dr Damodar Rout said.

The BJD parliamentary party meeting will be held in Delhi on Sunday. Four Rajya Sabha and seven Lok Sabha members will participate in the meeting.
