PM has two-hour talks with President

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Friday night had a two-hour meeting with President A P J Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

After the meeting, the two leaders had a one-to-one dinner, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman.

The President had recently attended a dinner at the prime minister's residence, which had raked up a controversy regarding protocol. Normally, it is the prime minister who calls on the President.
