Hizb expels three former 'commanders'

Pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen on Thursday expelled three former 'commanders' charging them with lobbying for Abdul Majid Dar, who was removed last year following serious differences with the Pakistan occupied Kashmir-based leadership.

Tufail Altaf, ex-district 'commander' of the outfit for Srinagar, Almas Khan and Nadeem Usmani, both former district 'administrators' of Kupwara district have been expelled, a statement released by the outfit said.

It said the decision to expel the trio was taken at a meeting of the command council of the Hizbul Mujahideen in the PoK capital Muzaffarabad on November five.
