Night curfew relaxed in J&K during Ramzan

Night curfew imposed in militancy-prone areas of Jammu and Kashmir has been relaxed from Thursday in view of the Muslim fasting month of Ramzan, a defence spokesman said.

As part of night curfew, people were restricted from venturing out at odd hours and in case they did, inform the nearest security force picket.

These restrictions have now been relaxed to enable people to offer prayers in mosques, he said.
