US actively engaged in easing
Indo-Pak tensions: Cheney

US Vice President Richard Cheney has said that his country is "very actively engaged" in trying to ease Indo-Pak tensions.

"The US is trying to defuse the tensions between the two neighbours," Cheney told CNN.

Pointing that both India and Pakistan have nuclear arms he said: "It is an important and dangerous part of the world."
