Four more killed in Ahmedabad violence

Four persons were killed, including three in police firing, and 22 injured since Sunday night in Ahmedabad.

The police opened fire to disperse clashing mobs in Maninagar area of the city late on Sunday after a bomb blast triggered panic in the area, which was under night curfew. Three persons were killed and a few injured.

One person was stabbed to death at Bhiloda town in Sabarkanta district late on Sunday, police said

In Maninagar and Kalupur police station areas, mobs allegedly used crude bombs inflicting injuries to many people.

A youth was assaulted while he was taking his injured relatives to the Vadilal Sarabhai hospital on Sunday evening.
