Pakistan army holds military exercises in PoK

Pakistan on Wednesday night completed its military exercises code-named Taimur One in Pakistan occupied Kashmir close to the de facto border with India, Pakistan Televsion reported on Thursday.

PTV said that infantry and artillery units were deployed in the exercises.

The wargames were held in Ratta near the Line of Control, it said.

Quoting a brigade commander, the state-run television channel said that exercises were part of the training of the troops deployed in the area and had 'nothing' to do with the current border tension with India.
