Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reiterated that the assembly election in the state would be held before March next year.

"The elections will be held before March 2003 when the assembly completes its term," Modi told reporters in Ahmedabad.

To a question, he said as far as the BJP is concerned the party is ready to face the election.
