Curfew was imposed in two more areas of Jharkhand's capital Ranchi on Friday and extended by another 24 hours in the three localities where it was clamped on Thursday following violence during a bandh called by pro-domicile groups, police said.
Curfew was imposed in Sukhdevnagar and Argora police station areas for 24 hours from Friday morning, sources in police control room said.
Doranda, Hatia and Jagnnathpur localities of the capital are already under curfew.
An uneasy calm prevails in Ranchi in the wake of Wednesday's violence during a dawn-to-dusk bandh called by pro-domicile groups.
