Victims of riots battered to death in Gujarat

Miscreants on Thursday night battered to death two victims of the recent communal violence in Gujarat, police said on Friday.

The father and son duo, belonging to a minority community, was staying in a relief camp for the past four months and had returned to its village in Vadodara district, the police said.

However, following perceptible improvement in the situation, they mustered enough courage to return to their house in Sinor village, only to be battered to death, they said.

The police had identified the victims and a complaint in this connection had been registered at Dabhoi police station in Vadodara district.
