A senior Orissa officer of the Indian Administrative Service would be chargesheeted for committing financial irregularities when he was the district collector of Gajapati, a top vigilance department official said on Wednesday.
"We lodged a formal complaint in 2000 against Santosh Kumar Mishra for allegedly committing financial irregularities during his tenure as district collector of Gajapati and managing director of Orissa Textile mills," he said.
The investigation is complete. It substantiated the charges. We had sought permission from the government for his prosecution, which was granted, he said.
