Talking to newspersons, Naidu said only four days were left before Parliament adjourns for a break and financial business for the Y2001-02 had to be completed before March 31.
Asked if the ruling National Democratic Alliance will bring forward a vote of confidence, Naidu said the leader of the House in the Lok Sabha would decide on this matter.
He said the Congress would gain nothing by stalling proceedings in Parliament adding that such actions would boomerang on the Congress.
He reiterated that the government was ready for any kind of inquiry into the Tehelka.com defence deals expose.
Describing what had happened as 'unfortunate', he said the issue must be settled through a 'process' and not through the Opposition demand for the Prime Minister's resignation.
Referring to the NDA's decision to hold nation-wide rallies from March 25, he said, ''Our government is clean and the NDA has decided to go to the people."
