J&K minister's house attacked

Militants fired grenades at the house of Jammu and Kashmir Works Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar on Friday evening, official sources said on Saturday.

The grenades were fired from launchers at the house at Nawabazar, but all missed the intended target, the source added.

It is second time in a week that a minister's house has been attracked by militants.

Earlier, militants had attacked Home Minister Mushtaq Ahmad Lone's house at Sogam.

On Friday night a grenade was hurled at a Border Security Force picket in the downtown area. No one was injured in the blast.
