Separatist leader's brother shot dead in Baramulla

Prince Khan, brother of a senior separatist leader and president of the National Front Nayeem Ahmed Khan, was shot dead at Pathanpora, near Pattan in Baramulla district late on Friday evening.

Police sources said Prince Khan was shot at by gunmen from a close range near his home. He was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but succumbed to his injuries.

Nayeem khan, who was a close associate of Democratic Freedom Party chairman Shabbir Ahmed Shah, led a massive protest demonstration at Hygam, and police officers have rushed to the spot.
