The two countries had set up two joint working groups in January to resolve the boundary issue.
The working groups will address the issue of 6.5 kms of undemarcated border as well as the question of 'adverse possessions'. The two countries have amicably demarcated 3,993 km of boundary.
He maintained that the recent border row was the result of 'unwarranted and unprovoked' action of the Bangladesh Rifles in the Meghalaya sector.
