Kashmir is the 'real issue'

E-Mail this report to a friend

Pakistan President Rafiq Tarar has said that there would be no let-up in Islamabad's ''political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri masses''.

He gave the assurance to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir Prime Minister, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry on Tuesday in Islamabad.

Tarar reiterated Pakistan's view that there could be no end to problems like Kargil until the Kashmir issue was resolved. The ''real issue should be resolved in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri masses'', he said, according to News Network International.
