Don't set terms for talks, Pak tells India

E-Mail this report to a friend

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief has told India to come to the negotiation table and not set preconditions for the talks he has offered on Kashmir. Otherwise, he said, the region would continue to be in the grip of tension.

Pakistan has pushed the ball in India's court by offering bilateral talks, state-run PTV quoted Sharief as telling reporters in Islamabad.
