Pak shelling continues in Jammu region

Unprovoked firing and shelling continued from across the border in several areas of the Jammu region last night in which one civilian was killed.

According to official sources, the Pakistani forces resorted to heavy shelling in Pallanwalla, Naushera, Samba and Jurian areas last night. One civilian, Mohammad Farid, was killed in the shelling in the Naushera sector of Rajouri district. However, no report of loss of life or property was received from other areas.

The sources said the shelling continued in the Pallanwalla sub-sector from across the border when last reports came in.
