Malayali Convention To Be Held in Connecticut

For three days over 1500 Malayalis will participate in cultural and social programs at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford. The 1999 World Malayali America Regional Convention scheduled for July 9 to 11 will have a number of cultural events and competitions.

Sakshi, a musical drama, will be presented by the Thiruvananthapuram Little Theater on July 9. The next day film star Kalabhavan Mani and his troupe will present a Star night. The conference is being organized by WMC, a five-year-old organization.
