Another of Apang's flock quits

The Gegong Apang ministry in Arunachal Pradesh suffered another blow. Yet again.

Minister of State for Tourism Tabor Jamoh resigned ''on moral grounds''.

Jamoh is the 20th minister to quit from the 37-member ministry since Saturday.

In his resignation letter to the chief minister, Jamoh said: ''It has become crystal clear from the recent political upheavals in the state that the Arunachal Congress party under your leadership is drifting away from its popularity and has given rise to a split in the party''.

''As such, on moral grounds, I hereby tender my resignation as minister of state for tourism ... And would request you to accept the same accordingly.''

Jamoh, however, has not made it clear whether he has joined the Arunachal Congress-M headed by Mukut Mithi.
