Janata Dal's Transport Minister P R Kurup resigns from Nayanar ministry

Kerala Transport Minister and senior Janata Dal leader P R Kurup has resigned from the E K Nayanar ministry.

He announced his resignation after the Janata Dal state executive committee voted in favour of removing him from the Left Democratic Front government.

The resignation letter, addressed to Chief Minister Nayanar, will be handed over at Ernakulam on Monday.
