Vajpayee to visit Lucknow on Tuesday

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will arrive in Lucknow for a day's visit on Tuesday, an official spokesman said.

He will arrive at the Amausi airport by a special plane at 1000 hours. From there he will drive straight to the King George Medical college to attend a function.

Later he will be present at the K D Singh stadium to inaugurate the fifth national youth festival.

Vajpayee is also scheduled to attend a lunch at the Mall Avenue residence of Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. He will also be present at an iftar gathering at the residence of Lalji Tandon.

The prime minister will return to Delhi the same evening.

This is Vajpayee's third visit to his parliamentary constituency after assuming prime ministership for the second time.
