Her first film, Bhaji On The Beach, marked her as a filmmaker to watch out for. Her last release, Bend It Like Beckham, was a huge hit both overseas and in India.

Now, Gurinder Chadha refuses to aim at anything but the stars. Unlike her earlier films -- where her actors were relatively unknown -- her latest film stars the stunning Aishwarya Rai and the affable Martin Henderson (The Ring).

Bride And Prejudice is based on Jane Austin's classic novel, Pride And Prejudice.
