Two legends, Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar, shared screen space after more than 30 years in Saudagar. The duo put in such superlative performances that they stole the thunder from the inexperienced lead pair, Manisha Koirala and Vivek Mushran.

Manisha, however, did however manage to strike gold with her debut film. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Vivek. Even rumours that Manisha and Vivek were seeing each other could not boost their screen chemistry; Vivek never made it big.

Saudagar and the song Ilu Ilu made it to Bollywood's hall of fame.
