Hema and Dharmendra are the proud parents of two daughters: Esha and Ahana Deol.

Esha made her film debut in Vinay Shukla's Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche, co-starring Aftab Shivdasani and Sanjay Kapoor. The film bombed and Esha too failed to make an impact. Her other films like Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Kya Dil Ne Kahaa and Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne also failed.

Last heard, Hema wants to direct her daughter in a film to boost her career the way Aparna Sen did for Konkona Sen-Sharma in Mr & Mrs Iyer.

As for Ahana, she is reportedly contemplating a career behind the camera.
