Cast: Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu
The film: Based on the hijack of the Indian Airlines Airbus to Kandahar in 1999, Zameen is about army man (Devgan) and a policeman (Bachchan) who take on some terrorists.
The man: Son of the late fight master and villain Shetty, it was natural for Rohit Shetty to debut with an action thriller. He had assisted Kuku Kohli in Phool Aur Kaante (Ajay Devgan, Madhoo), Suhaag (Ajay, Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor), Haqueeqat (Ajay, Tabu) and Zulmi (Akshay, Twinkle Khanna).
He also worked with Anees Bazmee in Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (Ajay, Kajol), Hindustan Ki Kasam (Ajay, Amitabh Bachchan, Manisha Koirala) and Raju Chacha (Ajay, Kajol).
