Nauheed Cyrusi is the only heroine in Lakeer. She plays Bindia, the love interest of both Sohail and John.

"Since I am the only heroine in this film, I feel my dream has come true. I am also very happy to be in Lakeer because the music is by Rahman!" says Nauheed.

The actress further explains how she landed the role. "I did a music video for the song, Piya Basanti, after which I got a lot of film offers. Ahmed saw the video. I was called for a screen test and he liked my work."

Her two films, Inteha and Supari, flopped badly. "I am upset about that. But at the same time, since I am new, I cannot be upset. It is disheartening, but I must learn. Practice makes perfect."
