Miss Asia Pacific 2000 Dia Mirza made her entry in films the same year in Vashu Bhagnani’s production, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. The film bombed.

Interestingly, her role was initially to be played by Urmila, while Urmila’s role was to be played by Tabu.

Dia, who plays a mentally challenged person in the film, reportedly prepared extensively for her role, including attending intensive sessions with a psychoanalyst.
