Well-known filmmaker
N C Sippy dead

Well known filmmaker N C Sippy died early on Sunday at a private hospital in Bombay after a protracted illness, family sources said.

He was 75.

Sippy was not keeping well since last six months and was admitted to the hospital recently, they said.

He entered the film industry four decades ago. Most of his films were directed by renowned director Hrishikesh Mukherji.

He produced several films, including Khubsoorat, Guddi, Anand, Aashirwad, Padosan, Sadhu Aur Shaitan and Bombay to Goa.

He is survived by sons, Raj Sippy and Ramu Sippy and a daughter.

Raj is a director while Ramu has turned producer.

Sippy was cremated at the Shivaji Park crematorium.
