Don't release CCCC, or else! The Bajrang Dal today warned cinema halls and cable operators against screening of the Salman Khan, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta starrer Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, allegedly funded by ISI-underworld nexus, and said it will "go to any extent" to stall its release in Delhi on March 9. This is the first step taken by the Bajrang Dal to "remove" the underworld's influence on Bollywood, a Dal spokesman told PTI. Since Bharat Shah, financier of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is alleged to have links with the underworld. "We will not allow the film to be screened here at any rate because its profits will be reaching anti-national elements and be used against the country's interests," he said. A committee has been constituted under the Dal's Delhi Chief Satyendra Mohan, to ensure that the film is not released in Delhi, the spokesman said adding that all theatres and cable operators have been warned that if they try to screen the film it will be at their own risk. Meanwhile, VHP's Delhi unit working President Om Prakash Singal said the Dal will not allow gau hatya (cow slaughter) during the festival of Id-ul-Azha, the spokesman said. He said the Bajrang Dal activists had been asked to help the police in the area by informing about any incident of cow slaughter, which is banned in Delhi. PTI
