Haryana cops confiscate illegal print of Gadar

The Haryana police have confiscated an illegal print of Zee Telefilms blockbuster Gadar - Ek Prem Katha.

B L Gautam, vice president, Zee Telefilms Limited, confirms, "The Haryana police raided Naaz theatre, Balwal village, Faridabad district, which was screening Gadar. The police have arrested Kishan and Tinku for the same and a search for the owner of the theatre is on.

"The police have also have seized two projectors and the theatre has a capacity of 528 seats."

Police sources say, "The owner must have acquired the print from some distributor of a small territory in Haryana or from Nepal. B L Gautam said, "No one is going to be spared if found violating any Copyright Act. We will have make sure that they are punished."
