TDSAT to rule on WLL on FridayThe Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal will give its decision on Friday on the controversial wireless in local loop technology. ''The order on WLL would come tomorrow (Friday),'' Justice S C Sen who chairs the TDSAT said. WLL service allows mobility on basic phone at a rate of Rs 1.20 for a three-minute call, while the incoming calls are free. However, the government's move to allow limited mobility had met with stiff resistance from certain sections of the industry. The Cellular Operators' Association of India filed a case against the government challenging the decision to allow limited mobility services through WLL on basic telephones. ALSO READ:
