Infosys, Evolving Systems in tie-up

Indian computer software firm Infosys Technologies Limited said that it will assist US-based Evolving Systems in developing telecommunications software. "The company is currently deploying a staff of 35 which is focused on features, enhancements and maintenance of core telecom technologies in close co-operation with Evolving Systems' staff," a statement from NASDAQ-listed Infosys said.

The statement did not give financial details of the tie-up.

It said Evolving Systems is a software, consulting and integration company working in the area of next generation telecom and Internet services.
