Step out in style this festive season
It's that time of year again, when slipping into your trendiest ethnic wear becomes almost mandatory. Keeping that in mind, we got designer duo Dev 'r' Nil (25-year old Debarghya Bairagi and 28-year old Navonil Das) to offer us some advice on style.
For a contemporary look, mix and match colours: Deep red wines with black, greys with orange and various shades of khaki with splashes of bright colours.
And this goes for men too.
Use your imagination. Mix and match unlikely colours like khaki with bright red or saffron, or jade green with old rose. Take these images, for instance. The male model sports a wine cotton silk brocade sherwani with zardozi and French knot paisley embroidery, teamed with a wine and black panelled stole.
