What: The Global Knowledge Partnership invites applications for its Youth Social Enterprise Initiative Fellowship Programme.
Details
~ YSEI supports young social entrepreneurs interested in developing innovative solutions to social problems.
~ The 10 best youth-led social enterprise proposals will receive grants between $ 10,000 to $ 15,000.
~ The selected candidates will attend a YSEI workshop to prepare them to launch their respective enterprises.
~ Each young social entrepreneur will be supported by:
- A two-tiered mentorship programme
- Dynamic communities of social entrepreneurs and groups interested in supporting young social entrepreneurs
- Up-to-date knowledge base and key online/ offline tools for young social entrepreneurs
~ YSEI is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and developed by GKP members MITRA, Orphan IT, TakingITglobal and Thai Ruralnet with the facilitation and oversight of the Global Knowledge Partnership Secretariat.
Are you eligible?
~ You must have an innovative solution for a social issue, with information and communication technology being a critical part of your solution.
~ You must be less than 30 years old.
~ You must be living in India.
~ You must be in search for support and opportunities.
