What: The Confederation of Indian Industry, southern region, invites IT students to participate in the 'iTalent' contest.
The aim of the contest is to identify and showcase the talent of IT students by developing IT-related projects for industry applications.
Who can contest?
~ The competition is open to the following final year Engineering students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- ECE
- EEE
- IT
- Computer Science
~ You could also be doing your M Sc in the following subjects.
- Computer Science
- IT
- Electronics
~ You could be doing your MCA.
~ Each institute can send a maximum of four team entries (minimum of two and maximum of three students per team)
Contest details
~ There will be an initial screening of concept notes by an expert committee.
~ CII will then invite detailed project proposals.
~ The project proposals will be evaluated and the finalists will present their projects at the iTalent competition in Chennai.
When: January 6, 7
Award list
~ The three most meritorious teams will win cash awards as follows:
- First place: Rs 75, 000
- First place: Rs 50,000
- First place: Rs 25,000
~ The members of the winning teams will also receive a citation for each team member.
~ The academic mentors of the top three teams will be awarded.
~ All other finalists will receive a cash award of Rs 1,000 per team and a citation.
