What: The Birla Institute of Technology and the Centre for Teleinfrastructure Aalborg University, Denmark, invite applications for admission to their double degree ME Programme in Software Defined Radio.

The two-year programme has been jointly developed by the International Centre for Wireless and Mobile Communication (established under the ASIA-LINK programme funded by European Commission) at BIT Mesra, Ranchi, and the Centre for Teleinfrastructure, Aalborg University, Denmark.

Programme details

~ The first semester will be completed at BIT, Mesra

~ The second and third semesters for advanced courses in Software Defined Radio and the fourth semester for joint thesis work will be completed in Denmark.

~ Candidates will be awarded an ME in Electronics and Communication from BIT, Mesra, and M Sc in Software Defined Radio from Aalborg University, Denmark, on completion of the programme.

~ Available seats: 10

Are you eligible?

~ You must be a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

~ You must have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks.

How to apply

~ Please send a typed application along with bank draft of Rs 1,000 in favour of BIT, Mesra, payable at Ranchi.

~ The application should contain the candidate's name, qualification, aggregate marks obtained, university, year of qualifying, examination passed and reservation if any.

~ It should also contain an undertaking that the candidate and his/ her guardians are willing to meet all expenses for the programme.

Note: Candidates with valid passports shall be given preference.
