What: A Post-Graduate Programme in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand.
This two-year residential programme leads to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management. It is recognised as equivalent to a Master's degree by the Association of Indian Universities and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Are you eligible?
~You must be a graduate with a minimum of 15 years of education, with an aggregate of 50 percent marks.
~You can also apply if you are a final year student who will appear for your examination by June 6, 2005.
Important information
Are you a sponsored candidate?
~You can apply as a sponsored candidate if you are an employee of a co-operative, an NGO/voluntary agency, a government rural development agency or an apex rural development funding organisation designated by IRMA.
~If you are a sponsored candidate, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
~You could complete two years at a stretch, or opt for a Certificate in Rural Management at the end of the first year and rejoin PRM within three years to complete the programme.
Scholarships
~The Institute offers the AMUL-TATA Fellowships of Rs 100,000 each based on merit and means.
~There is also a Sector Incentive Scholarship of Rs 100,000 each. This is can be paid after serving at an eligible designated organisation through campus placement.
~The Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai and The Eklavya Foundation, Ahmedabad, also award scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in the first year.
