What: The Bilateral Exchange Programme for Indian Scientists, 2005-2006. 

Are you eligible?

-You must be a scientist in a recognised institution/university and engaged in research work in frontline areas.
-You should not have been abroad during the last three years on any Indian National Scientists Association Programme.
-You must submit a letter of acceptance from the host institution/laboratory saying you have been accepted to work in the country you want to visit.
-Applications are invited for short-term visits (two to four weeks for senior scientists) and long-term visits (three to six months for junior/younger scientists). This exchange programme includes overseas academies/organisations in Brazil, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, The Kyrghyz Republic, South Korea, Nepal, The Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia, Ukraine and the UK.

OR

Send a self-addressed stamped envelope worth Rs 10, marked Exchange Programme, to the assistant executive secretary (Inter Academy) for an application form.

The last date for the heads of institutions to submit the forms is November 15.
