To bring up a child well, all a parent needs to do is be extremely honest with the child.

You have to be honest even when you are upset with your child. Your intentions must be clear. You must never lie to your child.

Renee goes out to play with other kids, goes to her favourite parks. She has her own friends. Her school and building friends come over for her birthday parties.

Renee’s birthday is on September 4. Sometimes, we go for a boat ride with her friends. Or we call her friends home and entertain them with Mickey Mouse, jokers, tattoo guys and magic shows.

She loves the idea of getting presents. I have to control her big time on that!
