In its latest issue, People magazine captures Karisma Kapoor on her comeback trail.
The actress, who took a break from films after her marriage to industrialist Sanjay Kapoor in 2003, will be seen in films again. Check out what People has to say:
For two years now, there have been rumours about Karisma Kapoor's comeback with Onir's You and I, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna and the Hindi remake of Tamil film June R.Putting all rumours to rest, Karisma finally confirmed her comeback to Bollywood. "I'm in the middle of finalising a film, which I should be able to announce next month," she said.
With her time divided between brand endorsements (Khaitan Electricals, Nesvita milk, Utssav jewels, etc), public appearances and daughter Samaira, 3, Karisma confesses to have become a little laidback.
"I wasn't in a hurry to start working on a film. Movies take a lot of time and so whatever film I sign has to be worth investing so much effort into," she said.
Unwilling to discuss the project further, she only adds, "It's not necessarily a heroine-centric film, but it's something that I want to be a part of. The script is being worked on right now."
